As time progresses, the modern wonders of the world are growing as well. The typical Middle Ages Wonders include Stonehenge, Colosseum, Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Great Wall of China, Porcelain Tower of Nanjing, Hagia Sophia & Leaning Tower of Pisa.

However, it is 2007 and a new list of wonders are available. Some of these new attractions include Disneyland, a famous theme park located in Anaheim, California. Opening in 1955, this famous U.S. travel destination guaranteed fun for a family, couple or even traveling by one’s self. Legoland, a series of lego theme parks in Denmark, England, Germany and the U.S. (California). Legoland is another modern world’s attraction for visitors of all ages. Universal Studios and Sea World are also included on the list of the new modern wonders.

When visiting Paris, the Eiffel Tower (another modern wonder) is on top of lists of must sees in the city de l’amour. Along the Seine River, the picturesque views vacationers can capture via camera from the tower are breathtaking. Two of the least common wonders, yet still worth visit include Rio de Janeiro Carnival (a peak summer carnival event) and Miyazaki Ocean Dome (the world’s largest indoor water park). They are great attractions to include on one’s travel hopes and dreams for their lifetime.
